Cal Newport vs. Zettelkestan

Basically, what I want to take away from this is that according the Zettelkestan guru, processing a book isn’t the same as taking notes. You’re basically integrating the knowledge gained from the book into the knowledge that already exists in your Zettelkestan.

The reference material doesn’t necessarily exist as a discrete thing anymore, unattached to anything else.
