Digital Minimalism

a philosophy of technology use in which you focus your online time on a small number of carefully selected and optimized activities that strongly support things you value, and then happily miss out on everything else.
Involves
- keeping your phone out of sight most of the day
- focusing on analog activities
- in person socializing
I’d like to do more of this, but I’m not sure the whole thing is for me. I like YouTube and TV too much.
But some things I can do:
- More board games
- More walks
- More in person activities
- More books
That being said:
- Notes are better when they are digital
- I use an e-reader
- Paper maps are not always practical
